Thousands expected for revival of town's Christmas lights spectacular

Up to 8,000 people are expected to descend on Wrexham tomorrow night to see Towie star Ricky Rayment flip the switch on the town’s Christmas lights. The festive event is set to be one of the biggest of its kind being staged across North Wales after years of dwindling audience numbers and lack of interest. The event’s revival was the brainchild of Sam Foulkes and members of the Rotary club of Wrexham Glyndwr, which was only officially chartered in July.
